Fresh from nature — trusted by the world
We grow, pack and export premium Hass avocados from Kenya's highlands to importers and retailers across the globe — full traceability, farm to seaport.
Our Story
Golden Pericarp began with a single family orchard in Kenya's fertile highlands, where the volcanic soil and cool, even climate happen to be some of the best growing conditions for Hass avocados anywhere on earth.
Today we work hand-in-hand with a growing network of smallholder farmers, paying fair prices for fruit we grade, pack and export ourselves — so every carton that leaves our packhouse carries our name and our standard, all the way to your dock.
Our Partners
Golden Pericarp doesn't just buy fruit — we build long-term partnerships with the smallholder families who grow it. Fair pricing and shared investment keep the highlands we depend on thriving for the next harvest, and the one after that.
We buy straight from partner farmers at published, above-market rates — no middlemen taking a cut of a family's harvest.
Our field officers run seasonal agronomy training and help farmers access quality seedlings, tools and organic inputs.
A share of every export contract is reinvested locally — school supplies, clean-water projects and grower cooperatives.
From our farms to the world
Tap a step to follow a single avocado from the tree to your table.
Hand-picked at peak maturity by trained pickers who know exactly when each tree is ready — never stripped early, never left too long.
Every fruit is inspected by hand, sized and graded on our packhouse line against international export standards before it goes anywhere near a carton.
Graded fruit is packed into branded export cartons by weight and count, ready for cold storage and a documented chain of custody.
Temperature-controlled trucks move fruit from packhouse to port without breaking the chain — every degree logged, every hour accounted for.
From our highlands to tables on the other side of the planet — fresh, evenly ripened, and ready to sell or serve.

Why Partner With Us
From packhouse to port to destination, temperature is monitored and logged at every handover — no gaps, no guesswork.
Every carton can be traced back to the farm block and harvest date it came from — the records are there if you ever need them.
Our farms and packhouse operate to recognised horticultural export standards, audited and renewed on schedule.
Fair, transparent pricing for the smallholders we work with — a stable supply base is good for them and for you.
Sustainability
Environmental, social and governance commitments aren't a footnote for us — they shape how our orchards are farmed and how our farmers are treated.
Avocado trees are interplanted with shade and cover species that reduce erosion, protect water catchments and sequester carbon in the highland soil across our growing area.
Living wages, protective equipment for pickers and packhouse staff, and equal opportunity for the many women who lead our harvest teams.
Full farm-to-seaport traceability, backed by KEPHIS, AFA-HCD, KEBS, HACCP and Fairtrade certification on every export lot.
Carbon Credits
Our agroforestry orchards act as long-term carbon sinks. We're building a verified carbon-credit programme with our partner farmers so buyers can source fruit from a supply chain that's actively measuring — and reducing — its footprint.

Shade trees and orchard borders planted alongside every new avocado block.
Working with an independent registry to measure sequestration on partner farms.
Carbon-inclusive contracts available for importers who want to report on it.
